While working in the
Slavic Village area, we found out that there was not
any place in the immediate area where people could go
to and buy or read Christian literature. So with that
in mind as the building took shape we designated an
area to become a bookstore and resource center. With
the help of Shepherds Grace Church in Medina we were
able to purchase a coffee maker and 4 café tables and
chairs. A call for help went out to the Fellowship of
Grace Brethren Churches in Northeastern Ohio and a
two-month book drive was started. People searched
their offices and shelves and found over 500 new and
used books that we could use to stock the shelves at
the Mission Center. Donations of books are still
welcome, in fact this summer, Word Publications
donated over 150 new music compact disks for us to
use in our ministry.
