HOMEpdx Meal – Every 3rd Sunday
On the third Sunday of each month, we join Pastor Bruce Arnold and HOMEpdx to share a hot meal with our houseless neighbors downtown.
11:30–11:45am – After service, we’ll gather in the Village Grace kitchen to pack lunches and load them into cars.
~12:30pm – We head downtown to serve the meal and spend time with friends who live both inside and outside.
We need helping hands in two ways:
Contribute food items for the lunch.
Serve by packing, delivering, and sharing the meal.
You’re welcome to do one or both—every part matters.
In Matthew 25, Jesus teaches us that by serving others, we serve Him. We believe this is what brings change.
Other ways to get involved
Cell phones needed!
Our houseless friends need cell phones in order to keep up with appointments and housing information. If you have an old cell phone or iPad you’re no longer using, please drop it off at the church.
